The days of early PC-Music
1997 - 1999
As mentioned, the "early days" of PC-Music had some restrictions. One of them, when it comes to use eJay's "Dance Machine" was obvious: Focus on Dance-Music.
Below you can find two examples of how "Dance Machine" sounded.
"Ocean" (1999) is a typical song you would be able to create. "Chillout" (2000) is a mix of different samplekits, normally not intended to fit together. I posted those songs on former website "mp3.com". At that time artists could upload their work for free there. Now the concept changed.
"Chillout" got more than 10k views. What a great time.
